Everything works like a charm!I found all the devices (the car charger, home charger) to be in perfect working order for my 3rd gen iPod. Other reviewers stated that the pieces do not look durable, but that is not true at all, they are all of good quality. I guess some people were expecting titanium plating or something the like.
I did not use the back cover since I already have a case for my iPod, but it looks good and I guess its not too bad to have.
Only drawback is that the retractable cable is a bit short. You really need to have an outlet near a small table so you can charge it safely without worrying about knocking into the cord. You also have to make sure to pull at both ends to open it, but once opened it stays until you pull on it to retract again.
Overall great little bundle for the price!
